More Information:
- Why would I want to get the GPD on RSS? Simply because it's a very low profile, friendly way
to remember to pray.
- What is RSS? "RSS" is a way to gather information from websites automatically and simply without
all the ads or distracting information. Also, the information is gathered for you, you don't have to go
and get it each time you want it. For a nice article of explanation, try
this article.
- What do I need? You need some way to gather the feeds. If you use Thunderbird as your email
program, get the latest version and you'll find that RSS is built in. You can also get a plugin for Outlook
(one option is rsspopper). The other choice is to
get a program that does the gathering, Both feedreader and sharpreader are
free & simple; they're a good place to start. Read

or

for some more choices.
- How do I get a feed? Every rss reader does it a bit differently. You'll have to do a little poking around
(or reading instructions) and look for how to get the address of the feed into the program. You'll find that it
gets pretty simple in a very short while.
- Once I have a feed, what do I do with it? Every time a prayer item pops into your reader, it can be
a reminder to pray. Virtually all readers have an indicator of whether or not you've read the specific item. You can
use that as a way to be sure to cover all the prayer items during the month.
- What if I don't go on the web for a few days? No problem. The feeds will always include the previous week's worth of
prayer items.
